Furthering Social and Emotional Development: The past week’s curriculum focused on teaching and talking about the unique roles of dad and their contributions as providers and protectors. The week was filled with activities for and about dads. We read a collection of children’s books about dads. Additionally, the kiddos took turns filling in the blank “I love my dad because”. This was one of their best, “My dad helps me to grow”.
