For this early learning social studies lesson- Honoring the American Flag and those who served, we talked about Memorial Day being a patriotic holiday to remember those who fought in the military to protect the United States. We fostered concept development and skill-building with our fun experience included patterning, colors, and the stars on the Flag. The children glued and assembled strips to create their Flag.

To encourage imagination and creativity – Each student created a Personalized Flag at the back of their American Crafted Flag https://photos.app.goo.gl/vVbeWps3CXyRAPrP72021 Summer Camp with a small interactive group filled with fun early learning adventures in art, music, and cooking.
