Paint & Play

Today, we wanted to share with you one of the highlights of our week! On Thursday, during craft time we had paint and play. Here are a few of the skills we practiced during our craft time:

• Fine motor skills –We used small motor control to learn how to hold and “whoosh” the brush across our paper.
• Hand-eye coordination— We used our keen eyes and steady hands to dip our paintbrushes in and out the paint.
• Color recognition— We practiced naming the colors we used during our craft.

We are so proud of the work that we created! After our hard work, we had a dance party.
