Science – Nurturing Children’s Interest in Nature

The science of nature and how it all works! In this featured experiment, we introduced the concept of growing grass by building background knowledge about seeds and plants and initiate a discussion with the kiddos about what seeds need to grow … soil, water, and sunlight. This fun and engaging experiment help the children to learn about plants’ needs with an opportunity to observe the growth process. As the seeds sprout there is an opportunity for the kiddos to see, record, and predict. We foster children’s interest in nature and the world around them through engagement in a fun, hands-on early learning scientific experiences. We offer a curriculum with meaningful first learning experiences under Virginia’s Foundation Blocks for Early Learning Standards.

We are enrolling children ages 3-5 years old.   To register, please call 703 354-5913 or email jacksonchildcare@gmail.com.
